My daughter was so excited to open the package (and we look forward to hopefully someday Chelsea and friends coming in reusable packaging as well)! &ldquo;She has curly hair like me!&rdquo; my daughter pointed out excitedly. This is her first child-aged doll with textured hair and she sure noticed and appreciated that! The doll has been having many adventures. She met Chelsea and drove her mini car. My daughter took the doll for a swim in the water table on the deck. After that I had to help her get the dress back on. One downside of her cute one-shoulder dress is that there is no velcro and it is difficult to get the one arm hole back over her little arm. As an adult I struggled a bit so it&rsquo;s no wonder my 5 year old was unable to redress her herself. She told me it looks like her! The curly hair and brown skin option for the doll to feel more relatable to her is the best part. She has been playing with it nonstop in her Barbie Dreamhouse. The Barbie Chelsea Doll (Brunette) we received had adorable features and shoes. This line has a good variety of skin tones and hair colors that make them fun to collect and easy to find a doll that looks like them. The only thing we would like to see in future dolls is more fun accessories included with the basic dolls or more accessory sets that you can purchase separately and possible a unique name for each doll!
