The hair is great and easy to manage as it is molded into an updo and won't get tangled or messy. The doll comes with a few accessories (a trophy and a flower bouquet). The dolls legs are pink to mimic tights and she comes with a nice pair of ice skates that stay on her feet very well. Bottom line though I was disappointed that the doll didn't bend at all - even the legs are rigid. It is difficult to play with her as an ice skating doll since her movement is very limited. She would have been a great made-to-move doll. The other issue that I saw was that her bottom isn't painted pink like the legs and the dress is short. She bends at all and you can see her bottom and it's kind of weird like she skating naked. The bouquet is also all one color - it would have been nice if that was not the case. The trophy came permanently bent and it is so thin the skater perched on it will not last long - it will probably snap very soon. However, if the child is small I can see it being a great first doll since I doubt they would notice these details. The super short hair looks so nice when it is in a bun, but of course kids will pull out the hair tie. Then it looks a little strange. Luckily it still looks nice when you put a tie back in. Also it is a little weird that the &ldquo;underwear&rdquo; are a skin tone when it looks like the Barbie should be wearing pink tights or leggings. The MTM and other dolls are sometimes too moveable for small hands, feet can pop off, etc which causes frustration. This doll was a perfect compromise! Knees and arms and hands articulate, which makes getting dressed, sitting down, moving and holding things a little easier without the frustration. Wish it was easier to find this type of doll. (There is a workout one and a spa one, also partially articulated if you are looking for a similar compromise.)
