He thought it would work like a bayblade. It was impossible to put together and the instructions were no help. Once we got it to spin it was cool but then my son put it aside and went back to his bayblades. Thanks to @Butterly @chickadvisor for this new fun free toy! We are so excited to have finally been selected to test and review a toy. My two boys 4 and 7 really enjoyed being &quot;testers&quot;. Receiving mail that day was exciting to have found the white envelope in our box! My 7 year old new exactly what to do and had no issues getting toy out and setting it up. The 3 parts are simple to attach to each other and ripping it but my 4 year old did have an issue with his little fingers trying to close the Dragon and pulling the cord/ripper. Both boys thought the toy is really awesome, very fun to play with. My 7 yr old said if he didn't see the packaging he would've been very surprised to have seen the Dragon, so the special attack was on point! It took him a little bit to get the hang of it as this was the first time he played with a toy like this. At first getting the bakugan back into battle mode (in a ball) was hard for him as there is several parts that need to be moved but he figured it out after I showed him a few times how to do it. He hasnt put the toy down since it came in the mail. I love that he has to problem solve to get it closed and ready to battle. Its an overall amazing toys that gives them hours of fun watching it spin and battle others. Whether it's the toys or the show, he loves it all. When I gave him the Special Attack Nillious we were given to review his eyes just about popped out of his head! He has many Bakugan toys but this is the first one with spinning action so it took a little playing around to figure out how to load the rip cord. Once we figured it out, the spinning action was great and without obstructions the Bakugan spins for a decent amount of time before stopping! The build quality of the toy is solid like most other Bakugan figures which I appreciate because of how much abuse these toys take when being battled. If we had one complaint it would be that the figure can be a little hard to close back into the half-ball shape. When I asked my son what he would like to rate the toy out of 5 stars he said 500 so I think it's a winner. The detail is great, the character looks cool and the spinning action is pretty impressive.
