They are very durable and connect easily. I have had no issues with these. This set you can build a bridge, but I have already bought more of these to build a city. The kids love these. They were able to easily build with the blocks connecting via magnets. I like the includsion of letters but though the stickers were subpar quality. I also wished more blocks would have come with one set. As the kids played with them I noticed some of the blocks magnetic strength wasn't as strong as others. This caused some of the blocks to slide down when stacked horizontally.
