As other reviews have stated, the bike has cosmetic differences compared to the one in the picture (for example, the bike that showed up had a white seat). This is not a big deal, but I'm not sure why they don't just use the picture that is on the box. The instructions for assembling the bike appeared to be universal for all bikes produced by the manufacturer, which made finding information difficult. The real problems I had were: -the breaks needed substantial adjusting, ended up paying a bike mechanic to do this. -the front wheel appeared to need truing. I asked the mechanic to do this as well, but it turned out that the wheel was actually flawed- either dented, or it had a poor weld so it couldn't be trued. The wheel has a slight wobble, which may affect braking. -the bolt for securing the seat would not tighten. the threads were slightly too wide for the nut. I eventually fixed this by grinding the thread down a bit. All things considered, this is a children's bike that is not unreasonably expensive, and my daughter loves it. I have worked out all of the issues (other than the wheel), but was annoyed by the number of problems. I was afraid that my daughter would outgrow the characters before she outgrew the bike, like she did with her previous &quot;princess&quot; bike. As others have said, the one in the store looks a little different. The Inspire bike that we got has a white seat and hand grips with black and pink hibiscus flowers on them, and there are also some white/pink hibiscus flowers on the cross bar. I could have done without the flowers but my daughter's eyes lit up when she saw this bike, so I had no problem buying it. She hasn't had it very long so I can't really comment on the durability, but she's already crashed it a few times, both on the street and on the trails and it seems to have stood up to them pretty well. I like that it has a quick release seat that makes adjusting the height easy. And it also has hand breaks and back pedal breaks which is great for my daughter who hasn't quite figured out how to use hand breaks properly. It does not have a kickstand but we purchased one and easily installed it. I was assured the bike did not have any pink on it (I think the customer service rep was looking at the same picture online and didn't know for sure). But as with the earlier reviewer, that wasn't the case when we opened the box. The seat, handle grips and front wheel frame are all white with blue and pink flowers and the white words &amp; decoration on the body are outlined in pink. the photo on the bicycle box is correct. I don't particularly mind since the bike is still mostly blue and I was looking for something that wasn't all pink/purple or covered in branded characters. The real problem for us was that the tire wasn't fitted into the frame properly and we were unable to assemble the bike so my daughter could have it on her birthday. We now have to take it back to the store and have them fix it or assemble a new one. If that goes well, I think it will be a good bike, but we're disappointed that we couldn't give it to our daughter on her birthday. Also the website says the bike is for 9 - 13 year olds but the manufacturer book says 6 - 9 year olds.
