It does take some time to put an animal together and get used to the pen/tool. There is space for all the beads that come with it and they do not spill when the lid is on, that made it easy for travel. Everything fits in the case. The placent pen is dual ended so you can pick one up at a time or add a few into it to place. It really does need a good spray of water to get them to fully stick. It goes with all of the aquabeads kits that she got chosen to try out. I absolutely love that she can do this craft without worrying about using needles and other stuff that would be a danger for her to use. We love that this case includes everything your kid will need to make unique bead designs.from cute This particular set has over 900 solid, jewel and star beads with many different colors. It also has a flip tray, sprayer, double-sided bead pen, creation base with design pegs and bead palette that can also be used as a storage case with carry handle. This is very easy to use. To do this crazy all you have to do is select your template and place the sheet underneath the flip tray, lining up the beads to the spacing on the tray. Then you must follow the template to place the beads on the tray until the template is covered. Next you have to spray with water to fuse the beads together and finish your design. You then have to fill the sprayer with water and spray the design thoroughly. As soon as you are done spraying, flip the tray to transfer the design to the reciever to dry it. They are not easy for kids with fine motor issues as they are tiny and can be difficult to get in the spot you want. They do melt well together when you use the water. The design flipped over without issue.
