As a mom of 4 kids with infant twins, we need all the time and sanity-saving tools we can get! The big winner for us in this set is the giraffe pacifier buddy. My 2 month old can hold it and keep her paci in easier. I love that it detaches quickly and easily from a Soothie pacifier to let you swap out a dirty pacifier for a clean one or to surreptitiously remove the giraffe from a sleeping baby for safe overnight sleep. One kiddo definitely prefers the ultra soft pacifier (so comfy-looking and fits their faces well), so the Velcro handle option is perfect. I've always been grossed-out by pacifier buddies in the past that were permanently attached, so the fact that this one can come off and be thrown in the wash is wonderful! Plus, baby looks so cute snuggling her new BFF. The bottle set works well and comes apart easily- I love that the vent is all one piece and doesn't require a separate tiny brush to clean it! It allows me to feed the babies upright which helps a bit with their constant reflux. Unfortunately, although they took to it just fine, my babies seem to prefer a smaller diameter nipple and smack and dribble a bit more with the wide mouth bottle. I love that the bottle warmer brings a bottle to the perfect temp in an impressive three minutes. It does not overheat the water around the bottle, so the risk of burning is super low. It only holds one bottle at a time, which is a bit inconvenient with twins, but is completely sufficient in most homes! Overall, this set a great option for new parents to have quick and easy access to necessities. It's the perfect number of bottles to get started with bottle feeding. It provides many things that are needed, whether you formula feed or breastfeed. I am an exclusively breastfeeding mom of a 4 month old. I used this set for expressed milk! The first thing I loved about the set is the fact that it includes so much. There was a bottle brush and sterilizer bag set, so I was able to quickly clean these items when needed. It included two different pacifier shapes. One was an Avent soothie, which is what my son seems to prefer. It came with a super cute giraffe stuffed animal that has a place to attach the pacifier. I LOVED being able to separate the stuffed animal from the pacifier! I could easily pop the pacifier off to clean or sterilize it. That part is awesome! It included another pacifier with the rounder, flatter tip to the end. My baby took it a couple of times, but he didn&rsquo;t use it much. He would let it fall out of his mouth pretty quickly. I did appreciate that that pacifier had a ring attached, so there was an easy place to pick it up that wouldn&rsquo;t go in the baby&rsquo;s mouth. The bottle warmer was SO nice. I haven&rsquo;t ever used a bottle warmer before (I also have a 4 year old), and this thing made me question why! It heated the milk up so quickly, evenly and to a safe temperature. My partner was able to give him a bottle in the middle of the night with minimal tears and crying from our son because it was so fast! The bottles were nice as well. They have a piece inside that helps prevent air bubbles getting in the baby&rsquo;s tummy. It is a nice feature. I do wish there had been a couple of slower flow nipples sent with this set because I tend to use the slowest flow nipples to mimic nursing from the breast. The brush and sterilizer bag made it super easy to make sure the bottles were clean for the next time! I would love to give or receive this as a gift. However, once I received the package and saw all the included goodies, my excitement was next level. The gift set included bottles, a bottle warmer, a bottle brush, pacifiers, and a pacifier snuggly. My baby is breast fed and bottle fed breast milk, but suffers from reflux. This bottles always full nipple feature was super helpful in our upright and paced feeding styles. The stage 1 nipple was a bit too fast of a flow for his 5 week old abilities, so maybe a preemie nipple option or slower flow would be helpful. The bottle warmer was a great addition although it takes a bit of time to warm bottles. Not too helpful if you&rsquo;re in a pinch. My favorite feature was the pacifier snuggle buddy. My little one help tight to it and it helped keep the pacifier in his mouth. The detachable pacifier is perfect for cleaning. I&rsquo;d definitely recommend this product as a gift. The bottle warmer is very quick which is important at those middle of the night feedings and the bottles are easy to clean and assemble. My favorite part of the gift set was the bottle brush. The bristles are soft and get the bottles really clean. The end of the brush has ridges to make cleaning nipples a breeze! The kit also had a snuggle pacifier holder but baby didn't really like it. To be fair, he hasn't liked any pacifiers this far. Simple is very important in the middle of the night when you are exhausted. I loved the sterilizing bags included because they are so compact compared to most plastic sterilizer containers. They are much more convenient to store. The giraffe pacifier holder was probably my favorite item. It is so cute. It helps keep the pacifier from falling when my son lets it go. My son did not like the two pacifiers included, he kept pushing them away. We were able to attach his favorite pacifier to the giraffe though. I love that it has the option to attach to any pacifier. The anti colic bottles included were good, but I really didn&rsquo;t see much difference between them and the Philip&rsquo;s Avent Natural bottles in regards to the air swallowed. I loved the anti colic feature of the bottle and how the nipple fills entirely and stays that way. I like the two different sizes to accommodate baby as he grows. The bottle warmer was quick, easy to use, and even looks cute sitting out on the counter. The sterilizing bags made sterilizing the bottle parts and my breast pump parts incredibly easy. I&rsquo;ll definitely be getting more of those. The pacifiers and snuggly giraffe in the set were super cute. My little didn&rsquo;t love this style of pacifier, but I like that the giraffe allowed the attached paci to be removed and another put on. The bottle brush was a little clunky, but cleaned well. My little one transitioned between bfing and these advent bottles with no issues. The parts are easy to clean and the vent/colic feature is a big plus for us! I love that the snuggle can be used with other pacifiers for different stages (which are also included) or any brand that your baby favors and can be cleaned easily. The best part about this set is the amount of quality products you get for such a great price! The warmer is also very easy to use, doesn&rsquo;t take up a lot of space, and works quickly compared to other brands we have tried. Overall I gave it 4 starts only for the fact the parts are more narrow which makes them a little harder to clean if using a regular sponge bottle brush. I like the brush included but personally feel the sponge ones clean more surface than bristled ones. The set included the following items: Phillips Avent bottle warmer, bottles with multiple sized nipples and storage caps, bottle brush, standard pacifier, snuggle buddy pacifier, and sterilizer bags. Overall, this kit is wonderful! We have not seen something like this on the market and we wish it were available when many of our friends were initially starting their families. This is great starter kit that contains everything you need and nothing you don&rsquo;t. It takes the guessing game out of matching up various brands, bottle types, pacifiers etc. We are very happy with Phillips Avent and trust their products. We would recommend this to any family and will be purchasing this for future friends. Detailed breakdown listed below! Bottle Warmer: We love the Phillips Avent bottle warmer. It is easy to place the setting in advance to the typical bottle size that we make for our son. We throw the bottle in, ask a smart device to set a digital timer (using a smart plug not included), and can-do other things while it is warming up and the plug allows us to shut off the warmer too without having to do this manually. It&rsquo;s very easy to use and small enough to pack if needed as well as save our precious counter space. Anti-colic Bottles: We have always been interested in the anti-colic bottles as our children have had gas pain, however we never ended up purchasing them. When we received this kit we were so excited to see the anti-colic bottles and used them immediately. Our child latched well even with being accustomed to another bottle design. He struggles with gas pain and we feel as though these bottles helped with that. It also allowed him to drink more controlled, and the extra piece really wasn&rsquo;t that big of a deal to add to the bottle wash load. Huge bonus that the kit came with the storage caps! We never have enough caps to support the rotating bottle load in the fridge to store pumped milk, this was an added bonus. Pacifiers: We LOVE the Avent 0-6 pacifier! Our son wouldn&rsquo;t take any pacifier until he tried the Avent pacifier. We love that it is simple and neutral, it matches his clothes and our house without being such a &ldquo;loud&rdquo; color or design that most pacifiers come in. We also really enjoy the larger pacifier with the giraffe animal attached. Our son doesn&rsquo;t latch as well to the pacifier itself, however it is more user friendly than other similar brands. He started to grasp (2.5 months old), and he loves to &ldquo;cuddle&rdquo; the giraffe as a soothing item as well. It also makes for cute photo opportunities. Sterilizer Bags and bottle brush: We loved trying the sterilizer bags! Its so easy to wash the bottle parts and just throw them in the bag and know they are clean! The bottle brush is probably our other favorite item in this set! The brush is one utensil, it cleans well, it&rsquo;s easy to maneuver and scrub the sides, and its made of soft bristles, and isn&rsquo;t a dirty sponge like most bottle brushes. As a mom to a 2 month old, I was really excited to try everything in this kit. I love that it came with size 1 and 2 nipples to try (5 total bottles), 2 pacifiers, snuggle buddy, bottle brush, sterilizer bags, and the bottle warmer! The set of sterilizer bags also included 5, which would come in handy for a new mama because you can use each bag 20 times. If I would gift to a new mama, I think it would be a great set to cover everything needed early on. I would make sure though that they are interested in the wide neck bottles. My son had a hard time latching on the bottle, but this may be because we usually use a narrow bottle. It seems also like this bottle had more of a wide nipple portion even compared to other Avent bottles we have used. This made it even harder to latch to. The anti-colic feature did keep air bubbles out like other comparable venting systems, but it was kind of tricky to remember to keep it upright. This is explained in the directions, but still hard to remember during the feed when you&rsquo;re burping a few times and setting down the bottle. The brush was soft bristled, and I love how the vent is one piece in the bottles, which is less cleaning! My favorite part is the cute little snuggle buddy. It is also detachable, which makes it easier to sterilize the pacifier. My son is a much bigger fan of the soothie than the other pacifier that was included, but I like how it is gender neutral for the set. Overall, I give it 4 stars. I received this set as part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel and having a fussy, gassy baby who frequently spits up, I was most excited to try the anti-colic bottle. I watched a video on how the milk is supposed to &ldquo;lock&rdquo; into the nipple when held correctly and thought &ldquo;how cool!&rdquo; Not so cool in practice. Tilting the bottle down as shown to let the milk flow in, it drips quickly from even the level 1 nipple. Then when I fed baby in the upright position (best for colic), the moment the bottle is even close to level, all the air bubbles just flowed right into the nipple. This happened even if bottle was still slightly less than 45 degrees downward, not even fully level, (and yes, it was while keeping the vent at the top of the bottle as instructed). I kept re checking instructions and everything was put together and held as it should be, but the milk never stayed &ldquo;locked&rdquo; in the nipple. I included photos so you can see what I mean. This occurred with every bottle we gave him that day. Also the nipple was very wide at the base, and I think my little guy struggled to get a great latch, so a lot dribbled down his chin. I did love the bottle warmer. It&rsquo;s very quiet and works quickly when you need those precious few minutes to get that bottle warm! I would definitely still purchase that. I think my favorite piece was the detachable pacifier friend. Such a cool feature! You can use it with a paci your little one prefers, not just what it comes with. Although my guy also really liked the 0-3mo pacifier that was included. It&rsquo;s light weight so he seemed to let go less than with bigger pacifiers. I will say one great thing about the bottles was that they are much easier to clean and have fewer components than another alternative anti-colic bottle we&rsquo;ve been using. But unfortunately with all the air bubbles leaking into the the nipple at each feed, I didn&rsquo;t notice a reduction in his burps, spit up and frequent hiccups he gets after feeding. I would still recommend this set to a new mom who hasn&rsquo;t invested in other bottles. I was not a fan of the brush, there is no way to properly store brush when done with it such as suction on the bottom or a hole to place in drying rack. There is just a point. I also had some narrow bottles from hospital and the brush doesn&rsquo;t really fit nicely in them, it kinda bunches up and I don&rsquo;t see the bristles really doing anything. The brush is great for washing adult cups and bottles but it doesn&rsquo;t work great for the all the different bottles I have accumulated for baby feeding. Plus it doesn&rsquo;t have an attachment for nipples so I still need a small brush for that. The brush also does not suds up well, which I partially use a measure to make sure it&rsquo;s cleaning. 1 star on the brush. The bottle inserts go back in nicely, other brands I have issues getting back into the bottles and gave up using them. They are also easy to clean, no tubes to worry about. 5 star on the inserts. Bag sterilizer, pretty self explanatory. Not sure if there is a max amount you can put in or just what fits. It says to not overfill so I&rsquo;m guessing it&rsquo;s whatever fits. It only had 1 safe zone marked for grabbing but it should have 2 zones on the same side top and bottom to make pouring easier. Liked using when away from home when I wasn&rsquo;t sure if I cleaned them as well as at home. I also like the boxes to check after each use to keep track of their quality. 5 stars on the bags. Bottles, I like the bottles they fit well in my small hands but son does not latch well with them. I tried them for 2.5 days of feeding and he had a lot of milk spilling out of his mouth do to a poor latch. I was using the size 1 nipple which is what I used for the other bottles. Not sure if there is a connection but he does seem to burp easier after eating with these bottles. I like their transportability, being that they are shorter I don&rsquo;t need a tall cooler or tall space in a fridge to fit them like with other bottles. I also like being able to pump directly into these bottles, they are wide neck so perfect for my pump and because they are more fat that long they don&rsquo;t get in my way as much. The markings are also very easy to read for measuring which makes both filling and reading the amount of pumped milk easy. 3.5 stars on the bottles. I was not a huge fan of the bottle warmer, to be honest my son likes his milk cold so having to wait to warm the milk is wasted time for me. It took about 5 mins for the bottle to warm up to what I think would be an acceptable temperature which is too long for me. I will keep offering him cold milk cause if that&rsquo;s what he likes at 3 am it makes my life easier. It is compact and fairly simple to use though so I will give it 3 stars. The pacifiers with the giraffe received more use by my toddler than son, he kept spitting the pacifiers out so he was not a fan.
