But he was happy non the less he then stood it on the platform and pretended to battle he brought some of his other small toys over to battle with. I think if we had another would of been better as then they can battle each other but he was happy battling his other toys. We just have the one but the kid played for hours with this. You can play with the figurine by itself and its pretty cool how it splits when its defeated. The toy feels well made and stood up to a few days of constant play by the little one. He has it battle his other toys and it opens and closes well so far. The settings of the battle base for actual fighting can get confusing having to set the right values during battles but that part doesn't really matter unless you get real involved with the fighting. Once you have that taken care of, there isn't much else to do. The figure falls off the battle stand super easily (and there are no instructions on how to attach it to begin with but we figured it out). There are levels all along the side to pick strength but those don't seem to actually correspond with anything the character does. My son spent more time getting it out of the packaging then actually playing with it.
