He's 10 years old and absolutely love the toy. Part of the tough job of being a parent is making sure that your children are satisfied. This can become increasingly difficult as my children get older. However, my son truly like playing with this. He plays with it a few times a day when it takes breaks from his electronic devices. This specific pack comes with 3 figures including both an Ultra Rare and A Legendary figure. Additionally the training dummy is a super cool addition that sticks on any flat surface and actually splits like a real Akedo when a hit lands solidly. He loved how the toys were advertised on the box. He couldn&rsquo;t wait to open it! he took it out and removing the toys was fairly simple and easy. All he had to do was pop them out of the plastic and they were ready to go. And he had so many things to say about the details! Its attention to detail is awesome, with the characters having amazing paint and print quality. He loves how they added not just a health bar, but a bar to measure your attack as well! (This is something previous versions do not have.) even the instructions have been updated for this new series. They still work with controllers and Akedo from previous series&rsquo; and are fun and interactive to use. The dummy is cool to look at and the print quality is amazing but is hard to splitstrike. Other than that, everything is good. The design of the characters is amazing, and he liked the controller it came with too. They seemed to like the action figures and thought it was neat how it went on the controller and they could make the arms and weapons swing around but they quickly lost interest cuz 1 the starter pack came with 1 controller meaning you will be playing by yourself unless you get another starter pack, I mean it's suppose to be a game played with others 2 controllers would have blade more sense to me. 2 the figures don't snap on so easily u have line them up perfectly (agitated my kids quickly), and 3rd even though the figures come undone easily when handling them, it takes alot of hits in just the right area to come undone while playing.
