He's 7 years old and these kept him busy for quite sometime! These set up on a pedestal and when you push the lever, they do a 360 turn as they punch their opponent. I wouldn't recommend these for smaller children as the figures could easily fit into their mouth. It made more sense to him on how to play and it gave him many options on which figures to choose for fights and plays with other kids who also enjoy this. He can get in a half an hour in playing with these, longer if there's multiple kids playing with him. We already own some of their toys and so with this product my boys are able to play with each other and battle. They love the show so having the sets make them even more excited to battle their characters. I love that with the starter kit you can switch characters that you are able to move as well as &ldquo;train &ldquo;with the punching bag accessory that comes with this toy. I like that it's reminiscent of toys of my past but will new features of the whole body of the toy spitting in half when he wins or plays with the traing toy. My only small wish is that it came with 2 bases since it's a starter pack he has more fun playing with another person but unless you immediately buy an expansion pack it's only good for one player which means he gets bored with it very quickly.
