I was so excited to receive this AirHogs for free. It took me a little bit of practice to get it. But eventually, I got the hang of it. Be sure to have an open space so it can fly around and get it&rsquo;s bearings. Use slow, precise hand moments to activate its tricks. Be patient and give yourself time to practice. You can play for 5-7 minutes and then you will need to charge it. It says to let it cool before charging, but I forgot a couple of times and didn&rsquo;t have any issues. This is a fun little toy! This indoor flying orb is controlled using just your hands, and not touching it! Comes with easy to read directions that give you all the info needed to figure out how to use it and do tricks. When first taking it out of the box it appeared flimsy and I thought it wouldn&rsquo;t last long. I was wrong...it has hit the wall, other objects, and the ground when first using and it is in the same condition as it was when received. My son really enjoyed AirHogs Supernova. The only thing he didn&rsquo;t like was that he would play with it for about 6 minutes, then it needed to be charged for about an hour before being able to use it again. I find this a great toy for the older children. We had a lot of fun playing with it and learning all the tricks we could do using the motion of our hands. My son was so excited to receive this for free for testing and reviewing purposes even though he is a teenager. We were happy you could play with the Air Hog straight out of the box without charging it first but not so happy that you can only play with it for a few minutes before it needs to charge for almost an hour. The box advertised that you can teach it a bunch of tricks and we tried to go to the site for more information on that but really didn&rsquo;t show much of what we were hoping to get out of it. Once we investigated the Air Hog on our own and played with it a bit we got the hang of how it was to operate and did a few simple commands. We will keep working with it I&rsquo;m sure. With the low amount of playtime and high amount of charging time this toy quickly faded into another item that sits around and gets played with very little. The instructions were eassy to follow and my boys understood how to fly the Air Hog. The video that was on the Air Hog website made it easy to understand how to fly. My boys quickly discovered that they could do many tricks. My boys felt like this toy needed more space than we had in our rooms to play with it. They wish they had a big open room like a basketball court as the Air Hog kept crashing into things. What a fun toy. It is a great indoor toy. Living in the desert getting outside in the summer can be hard but with a toy like this you feel you are getting to play with an outside toy indoors. I recieved this product for my honest review. From first glance I was concerned because I had no idea how we would control this. My son was super excited about it immediately, saying how cool it was. We opened it up, read the instructions while it charged and wait. It took several tries before we got the hang of it, personally I would rather use a controller but my son who is 11 got the hang of it and love it. He immediately started trying to figure out the tricks and seeing how far he could fly it. The downside is the charge doesn't last long so I felt like as soon as he was getting into the tricks, we would have to charge it again. We had so much fun opening and playing with this Air Hogs Supernova that we got free to try out. We were so excited to try this that we tried it outside. Thinking we would be able to contain it, the video seemed easy enough. This little robot took off to the sky as soon as we turned it on! It went 100 feet up in to the sky and started to fly away until it ran out of battery and plummeted to ground and got stuck in one of the trees. We had to use the pool skimmer to get it out of the trees. Once we got it back we knew to only play with this toy in the house from that point on. Even still in the house, the toy has a mind of its own and it was difficult to navigate the first few times. After getting to know the toy its become much easier to control. The Air Hogs supernova orb is a really fun toy that is different from other toys my children have used. They really enjoyed that they were able to control the orb and it felt like they were doing a magic trick. It was really neat how you can control the orb with your hands and how it floats and how you can move it. I liked it because it got my kids moving and they had a blast using it. It was something that is different from the usual rc or drone type toy. It is also really simple to use and charging it does not take to long. It charges in under an hour and is ready to fly once charged. I have 3 boys and they were all equally excited about playing with this product. The instructions were pretty easy to understand, they didn't have any issues. They loved being able to control it with only their hands, one of my boys said they felt powerful like they had powers haha. The only thing is I wish the battery lasted a little longer for more playing time. Takes about 50 minutes to fully charge and only lasts about 5 minutes. He walked in the door after being gone a month and picked the Air Hogs Supernova up and said&quot; What new gadget do you have here mom? He turned it on and proceeded to play with it and said &quot; this is cool&quot;. We did find that the Air Hogs Supernova was easy to charge, but that charge does not give a lot of playing time. Due to the noise that the Air Hogs Supernova makes it is a bit intimidating at first. It is fun to play with it by yourself or with a group of others. It really makes you concentrate since you never know when it is going to come at you from another person. This little drone is really fun! It took a little while to get use to, but once you practice you catch on quick how it works. It has sensors on each side, and you just use your hand to guide it where you want it to go. Even my 3 year old had fun with it (my 1 year old enjoyed watching lol), but I do think it&rsquo;s best geared towards bigger kids. The only thing we didn&rsquo;t love about this product was the short battery life. You only have about 7 minutes of batter life before you have to charge it. That being said, I&rsquo;m sure it has something to do with the small size of it. The Air Hogs Supernova is a pretty cool toy. I think it is a great idea, but the battery life is minimal. I received this product for free to test with my children. Air Hogs Supernova was delivered to us yesterday, I spent 55 minutes charging it. It was very cool to play with but by the time we got the hang of it, it was dead. Then we had to charge for another hour to play with again. Like I said previously, the toy is a great idea but the battery life needs some work. I know that with children they tend to get bored easily but not that quickly.
