There are 5 pieces in it: The scientist's coat, gloves, goggles, hair clip (signature to Ada Twist Scientist), and two sticker sheets which they count as separate items. The coat is relatively easy to spot clean but if you need a deeper clean, the instructions say to hand wash cold and line dry. I love that this set has a picture of a girl (who is a person of color) on it, to encourage interest in science and support the idea that it is not just a dream for one specific demographic.
