Expect it to be rather difficult so don't go too young when giving it as a gift. Age 9 or 10 is a good starting point. We broke two parts when disassembling the Ferris wheel so go slow and easy and all will be okay. The good thing is that we now have two more of the three 'rides' to assemble. Two improves would be to have a little stronger motor or include a motor that is plugged into the wall. Also provide two or three extra parts of each item for breakages. Other than that, zero concerns. Not many stores in this area carry them and if they do it's the same few types of sets Had to stop in a Toysrus 3 hours away to find this. He is very creative and uses this kit to build cars for his action figures that actually drive with the battery-powered motor. The instructions that come with the kit are easy to follow if you want to build the included models, but this is a great starter kit for kids that like to experiment.
