Once assembled its very sturdy...HOWEVER the legos included are extremely hard to put together not to mention that the lego table IS NOT compatible with LEGO brand legos which is why we bought it. Wish there was a bridge with it though or it was just a circle instead of figure 8. Sometimes he would get mad when the train came off the track.
