The house has little indents for the Barbie to stand in so she does not fall over. It's a great set that would be good to travel with, not bulky. She&rsquo;s into everything tiny, so this is perfect. Initially she was excited about the slide and the swing, but then she discovered the mini elevator. Overall she has had a very positive experience with this Barbie house and has incorporated it in with other small play toys creating neighborhoods. The only negative feedback I got from her was that the tree kept falling off. When this arrived I was a bit skeptical about the overall size but it was a hit! My granddaughter loved the little house and that it was easy for her to carry. I was pleasantly surprised by the doll - they are more detailed than I anticipated. They are super cute and I look forward to checking out the other mini land options and adding to the collection. It is very much inspired by Barbie: The Movie, including the design of the house. The surprise box contained Barbie (not a surprise), a tiny gray kitty, and a nice cat bed/tree. (Honestly, I think this is the kitty&rsquo;s house and she lets Barbie live in it!) The house has slots to help Barbie stand. The elevator moves up and down, and Barbie goes down the pool slide fast! There&rsquo;s a little door that opens and you can see a design of a cat door at the bottom. Very cute! It would be extra fun to have some of the other sets so that Barbie could have her friends over for a dance party. It would also be fun to have this as a tiny Barbie Dreamhouse INSIDE a full-size Dreamhouse! Imagine! A few things: Barbie does not bend so she can&rsquo;t sit in the swing - kitty sits in it nicely! It might be helpful to have an adult around to help any tiny Barbie fan, because this would be challenging for kids who are still a little awkward with fine motor skills. Hold the house in place when you slide the elevator up and down! Be sure to keep it away from younger siblings, because the pieces are very small! The kitty is TINY, like the size of a few grains of rice. Be very careful because it would be easy (and tragic) to lose her. If your little one obsessed with mystery and minis, this play set has both! My daughter was super excited to open the mystery box to find out what she got. I love that it's the perfect size for my her little hands. She's able to move Barbie around and stand her up without falling over in the little heart shaped slots. I also love that it easily packs into her backpack for fun on the go. It's already made a trip to Grandma's house and will go with us to the lake this summer too.
