I did find my little girl had issues with losing the pieces as they were so small. Her came with a mini turtle, that we lost several times. I will say the closet in the house is perfect for storing the doll that comes with the playset. My daughter did love the colors and the elevator on the side of the set. The ability to stand the doll in the preset slots is a fun and neat idea to stabilize the doll for play. Overall, I&rsquo;d say she enjoyed the set and played with it approximately 20 min before her attention was diverted. We have a little bag she is going to store it in, so she doesn&rsquo;t lose the pieces. She was quite excited to open the cute little surprise box. Inside of it was the little Barbie figurine (that was pictured on the packaging), a little turtle, and a small tree-stump home for the turtle. The house has all of the important rooms in a living space needs, so that &ldquo;real-life&rdquo; can be played out. This includes the important bathroom with toilet and shower, bunk-bed bedroom, living room with couch, and kitchen. Cool elevator, that actually works, can get Barbie between floor levels. Outside fun includes a swinging chair, and three-position movable slide with pink mini-pool landing. Such a cute and fun little set. I scratched it with my nail to check the issue and it came off immediately. It's super colorful and incredibly detailed. It just has so much charm to it. Off the bat, I want to say how I love that this house is based off of the 2021 Barbie dollhouse. I just love miniature versions of real life things. Plus, it's perfect as a dollhouse for dolls! But let's continue. The playset comes with the house, a detachable slide, a swimming pool, a swing chair, a mini doll and two mystery accessories (spoiler alert! It's a pet and a pet house) You will find the mini doll and pet in the box with the question marks. I assume you will always get the same doll since it's already shown on the box, however the pet and pet house will be random. Personally, I don't understand the surprise element. I don't think people will want to but a whole new mini dollhouse just to get a new pet. And the doll is barely a surprise since you already see it on the box. I'd rather just be able to see everything we're getting. The mini doll is based on fashionista #221. It can bend at the hips to sit and has a heart base. For the mystery pet, I got a tortoise! It comes with a house that looks like a tree stump. It's incredibly small so be careful not to lose it! I love the pet. My only problem is that I wish there was a designated pet area. There's no place to put the pet house without having it feel awkward or in the way. There's only so much room in the house. Speaking of the house, I'm really glad to have furniture to interact with. I like that the bedroom has a bunk bed, the living room has a couch, the bathroom has a shower with a door that can open and a toilet. Even the front door can open. There's also a swing chair that can go on two different places. I like the swing chair but but it's nearly impossible to get the mini doll to sit on it. The heart base seems too heavy to allow it to balance on the chair. Or perhaps, it's a me problem however, the kids in my family struggle with it too. Maybe other people will have better luck. To be honest, it's really hard to make the doll sit in general. It's a balancing act every time. I wish it was easier. I also find putting the doll in the holes near the wall of the house difficult. There's not much room to put your hands in the house. The corners are especially difficult for putting the mini doll in. It's not impossible just a bit difficult. There's a slide that can go in three places. I appreciate the ability to rearrange it. You'll find 3 small circular holes on the second floor where you can put the slide. The doll can slide on it perfectly. The back of the house is flat but has so much sculpted beautiful details. I'm sure like kids will find it easy to imagine scenarios for playing with the back side. Also, I really love that the elevator can move up and down! Overall, I really like this toy. The blind box aspect of it was particularly thrilling. There were so many discoveries to be made with this toy such as being able to move the slide, finding all the foot holds the doll could stand in, and moving the chair to different places. I found that it provided a lot of open ended play for her, perhaps more than other toys of a similar stature. One thing that I would suggest adding is a good carrying case to keep the pieces together. Taking it along would be much easier and less likely to lose the small pieces if we had something like that.
