I highly recommend! The instructions are clear and at the perfect level for young kids. You would probably have to lead the game for a 3 year old but a 4 year old can lead the game after being instructed. The only negative is the cupcake are super tiny, surprisingly small. So if you have a child putting items in their mouth still they would have to be 100 percent supervised while having these pieces. The quality is adequate. We play this all the time, especially when we have new friends over. The ability to change up which princess you are, allows for new and exciting games for the little ones. I have to admit that I was completely wrong in being skeptical about this game and whether it would provide more than one round of entertainment. Almost 3 weeks out, my LO is still asking for the game first thing in the morning and at least twice more throughout the day.
