My baby loved this toy and I really think it helped her get interested in crawling more. Fun for a variety of ages because my 5 and 8 year old loved helping the baby play with it as well. It&rsquo;s pretty bulky and hard but also sturdy and will withstand some wear and tear. The McIntyre figure is on point with the likeness and is sturdily built. My son is not gentle with these action figures and it has stood up to abuse showing no visible wear over 5 weeks of use. I figured using a toy that can move around might help her get motivated. While this puppy is cute and interactive, it is loud (voice/sound and motor) so it actually scares my baby. She tolerates it on stage one for a bit but as soon as it springs to life she&rsquo;s done with it, lol. I&rsquo;m hoping she&rsquo;ll be more receptive to it as she gets older. It has not gone to waste, however. She has three older siblings- 8, 6, and 3. They&rsquo;ve gotten a kick out of this thing, especially my 3 year old who LOVES dogs. Again, it is on the louder side, so I do kind of limit their time with this for my own sanity. The kids like taking turns pulling on the sock and there is a nice variety of songs and sounds it plays since there are three learning stages.
