<span itemprop="description">A toy that is for a young child imo should turn on when a button is touched (as most toys do). They do not think at this age to turn the toy on every time they want to play or turn it off after they have finished which means that they need to turn it off and then back on again for it to light up and make sounds. At first I thought it was the batteries so I changed them and it did the same thing. Then I thought maybe a defect so I return the one I purchased and purchased another one but the second one did the same thing.</span>
