It was fun to put together and it wasn't too hard (except for the one yellow piece that looks orange in the instructions)." From me (mom): We used to have the original marble run toy. The Vtech version feels much sturdier and the pieces snap together better. I love open-ended toys that can be built and re-built in different ways. See photo for the instruction that shows a piece that looks orange on the left, but yellow in the diagram on right. It took my daughter a moment to realize the piece she should be using was yellow NOT orange.</span>
