It&rsquo;s cute and colorful and not too difficult to put together but I did think the instructions could be a little more clear for kids. While I thought it was a pretty cool toy, my 5 year old nephew lost interest pretty quickly after we finished building this. He was enthused playing with individual parts while he watched me but it just didn&rsquo;t keep his attention. His 10 year old sister wasn&rsquo;t interested either. Since then, he&rsquo;s only use the basketballs and &ldquo;hoop&rdquo; section on their own. It can be played with individually if a kiddo likes that or kids can race since there are two launchers. The mini basketballs are so fun. They aren&rsquo;t super small which we appreciate. They roll effortlessly along and can go quite fast at times. It can take a lot of work for the kid to get the ball in the basket but the basketballs can also be dropped into the chutes which is just as fun. It is tricky to set up this set and the directions didn&rsquo;t help much. Despite the numbering of pieces on the fold out instructions sheet, we found the pieces didn&rsquo;t have numbers that matched that so we had to just go by the photos to set it up. The pieces stay together very well and actually can be hard to get apart again so I recommend just finding a spot to leave this set up.
