He&rsquo;s enjoyed playing with it since the first day we received it. It&rsquo;s bigger than expected and so very nice! The quality is great and very durable. My father is actually a fireman so it is so cute for my little guy to &ldquo;pretend&rdquo; to be his grand daddy. Overall a great toy! Highly recommend for any small boys. All you had was words and unclear pictures so it took me a while and I got frustrated. After it was finally put together my 2 year old loves it. It was very easy to put together with clear instructions. The fire truck has something underneath it that detects the different surfaces you&rsquo;re driving over which activates different sounds. I can imagine the possibilities with that tech are endless. Putting it together was a small mission but nothing too difficult. We like the added little figures added with the set. It really adds to the playability and encourages them to use their other toys too. Go! Smart Wheels Rescue Tower Firehouse is my son&rsquo;s favorite toy to play with. We live next to a firehouse, and my son loves looking at all the fire trucks, so this toy is perfect for him. It comes with a fire truck that makes sounds, music, and words as it drives along the track&rsquo;s smart point areas. There are figurines of a dog, a fire hydrant, a hose, and a fire. It also has a moving garage door and an emergency elevator that goes up and down. We love Vtech toys because the quality is always excellent. She loves the door flap for the fire truck to zoom through, the bell that launches the fire truck down the ramp, and the elevator to bring the fire truck to the top for servicing. The issues that we found with this toy were that it was incredibly hard to figure out where the parts went. I am very seasoned when it comes to constructing small projects so I thought this would be a breeze. My husband tried putting it together and failed. I didn't think much of it because he hates constructing things and can never figure out the instructions. So I decided to try. First of all....the instruction pamphlet has small image depictions for each piece, making it difficult to see, and the instruction were in black and white. I know this doesn't sound bad to most people, but it was SO confusing for us. I had to put the stickers on just to understand what went where. After putting the stickers on, everything became clearer. I have never been so confused. I'm glad that after my frustration, we figured it out. Another downside is that my daughter does not like the fire truck. I think it's because the fire truck is large and bulky, making it susceptible to falling off the track when launched.
