Toad was a character that they were drawn to because he was small like them and they thought he was funny. This toy is cool because his head turns and he has a little pan that he carries around our child love hold this little pan. I will say that while it says 3+, I would suggest watching closely because we caught our child trying to put the toy pan in their mouth. Well, this kind of large Toad! He's bigger than I thought he would be! He's a really hearty little figure which I really appreciate. He has excellent articulation with far more joints than I would have anticipated. He's very well painted and made up of high quality plastic. the quality is just wonderful with lots of charming details (like the pan that can slip in and out of his backpack). My boys love Super Mario Bros. but I have to say I'm very tempted to keep this sweet Toad at my desk to brighten my work time!
