<span itemprop="description">I bought this for my almost 3 year old. It is lightweight but keeps his head above water. He zooms all over the pool on his own. He figured out he has to kick and use his arms to get where he wants to go the first time he used it. It goes on in less than a minute. He is ready to learn to swim but will keep one for playing around.
We tried a regular life vest first but he didn’t like it at all. It rode up and he had limited mobility.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This was a wonderful purchase and helped my 3 1/2 year old stay afloat and swim for 4 hours! She's near the top end of the weight for the L, and it was still roomy, so I would say they run slightly big. She does take independent swim lessons and has some skill, but the vest assisted her so she wouldn't tire so quickly. My only complaint was that the material can get stuck in the zipper easily...I would have given it 5 stars if we didn't run into that!</span>
