My 2 year old enjoyed putting the creatures in the sharks mouth and dumping them out. It did not hold her attention after a couple times of that though. My 7 yr old enjoyed the dumping feature. My two-year-old liked counting the fish and stars and pulling them in and out of the shark. My youngest liked dumping water in and out of the shark's mouth. However, the actual fish have a little spout where water can quickly get into the fish if squeezed (which the kids easily do) but cannot be easily drained. Per my past history with similar toys, I know that it won't be long before mold build-up inside and will make those toys a hazard. My youngest is almost two and my oldest is eight, they have so much fun using this to have fun, learn and scoop toys! The little fish are the most fun, they both have a blast squeezing water out of them! It's also a good learning tool for colors and for counting as well so it adds a little education into bath time.
