I purchased it for my granddaughter at 10 months old. She should be able to use it for a little while. The only suggestion I would make, as it would be nice if the bottom was able to be removed as well as the handle and the child could use it as a play car as a grill by using their feet to push. While he was buckled into it being pushed by my aunt they got hit by a car and if it weren't for this car his injuries would have been much more severe. I would recommend this product 100%. I normally love putting stuff like this together, but this wasn&rsquo;t that fun. The windshield holes didn&rsquo;t line up, so we had to enlarge what was there. After assembling the car, the general consensus by the adults was that this car can be assembled &amp; placed in the box, except for screwing together the handle. It&rsquo;s pretty ridiculous how much needs to be assembled, especially considering the price! The kid loved it, though.
