In partnership with Toys"R"Us Canada, Starlight Children's Foundation Canada is proud to introduce Periwinkle, the 17th Anniversary Collectible Starlight Bear, designed by six-year-old Adriana.
When Adriana was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), her world changed overnight. Treatment challenged her body and mind, but her laughter, imagination, and bright spirit never wavered. Named after the periwinkle flower, the bear honours a powerful part of Adriana's journey - a chemotherapy drug derived from the flower that played a vital role in her fight against cancer. Periwinkle's cream colour symbolizes hope and new beginnings. The gold ribbon and accents honour all children affected by childhood cancer, while the pink and purple bows reflect Adriana's favourite colours. A gold butterfly marks the spot where Adriana's Port-a-Cath was used to deliver treatment, symbolizing the strength and resilience that carried her forward. Recommended for children 3 years and older.
