My family loves it, but we only have one, so the kids have to take turns! It's awesome that it's motorized, makes it so much more fun! It is kind of large so I don't think small kids could hold it, but older kids and teens definitely! My husband even enjoys it, maybe even more than the kids! You have to buy batteries for it but other than that, it's hours of fun for the whole family! It's not super heavy either and the face plate you can see through is pretty cool too. The gun is really loud when you shoot the little nerf bullets and if they hit someone they actually hurt. If for adults this could be fun to use with your friends or significant other as long as they have a nerf gun also. IThis gun is a new design in celebration of Nerfs 50th anniversary, it is fully motorized (needs batteries), comes with 36 official Nerf Elite darts, has two 18 count clips and a removable blast shield. A must have for any Nerf gun lover both young and old. It was so much fun to play with. It's huge, but not too heavy and motorized. The colors are bright and fun. It has quite the nostalgic flair about it. Reminds me of my childhood. My children like to gang up on me, but now that I have this gun there is no competition. They run and hide every time. The gun shoots smoothly, very accurately, and at a pretty fast speed. The batteries Have an impressive life span. The clips are great! They are easy to switch out in the middle of a battle, and they hold 18 darts. The gun requires six D batteries, thats the con for us parents, but i hope it will last a while. Here what my son is saying: &quot; i like the aiming, the shield is great and the amount of bullets the mag can hold. I like how it's motorized, it shoots far and it' s great!&quot; I would says its for at least ten years old because the thing is pretty large and you need long arms to hold it! He has another Nerf blaster that he has to pump in order to shoot- he loves the fact that this one is motorized! He is not a fan of the shield and doesn't really use that part but he does love that it comes with two 18-dart clips.
