One does not grab the bullets so it doesn't work, the second one was on my grandson's bed - he picked it up - the gun was so hot you could barely touch it - the batteries were starting to bubble along the seams. The third will remain unopened. My grandsons, son and myself are extremely disappointed. The firing system is different than other blasters, and it fires nicely. The sound it makes when firing is awesome, and it comes with 2 18 dart magazines and a dart shield, along with the darts. You don't have to worry about getting clips to go with it. The blaster also has 6 tactical rails for all the scopes and attachments you can add. Now the bad stuff. The bad parts are that it takes 6 D batteries. I suggest a rechargeable battery for this blaster. The second issue is that the plunger can become partially out of the reenactment area and cause ANY magazine to be unable to insert. You cannot try to use the motor to retract it, because the 4 different safety switches for the magazine. You can try to push it back in, but be very careful. The final issue is that drums DO NOT work with this blaster. Don't attempt to stick one in. This might explain why Hasbro added the 2 magazines with the blaster. Overall, this blaster is fun to use in nerf battles, and it is a good powerful choice. I would recommend this blaster to more advanced Nerfers and modders, due to the design of it. They really like how it shoots the darts really fast but they also mentioned that you have to aim upwards in order to make them go farther. Also, I would recommend having a lot of extra darts as well as magazines as they seem to disappear rather quickly. It comes with two clips that hold 18 bullets each which for me meant I did not have to reload as much. It was pretty easy to load the bullets to the clips and attach them to the gun. It has an interesting grip design which makes it easy to hold and fire. After putting in the batteries, I was ready to fire. There is a safety to the gun which I found super helpful as I took aim and did not premature fire. The blast shield worked perfectly as I fired, I was protected behind it. It was pretty easy to attach to the gun as well. As I fired, the gun did get pretty loud because of the motor. So I made sure not to put the gun near my ear. The bullets came out fast, and they went pretty far across my living and dining rooms. The only downside I noticed was the weight of the back of the gun, it was very heavy especially after adding the batteries. I had a pretty tight grip on the gun, so it did not throw off my aim.
