When she saw it she was so excited. Her 10 year old sister was eager also and also put this together. This was very easy to assemble. It has given them hours of playtime. My daughter who is a Spirit fan had a lot of fun playing with this set. She also used her other Spirit action figures with the set which helped keep her interest longer. This set does need to be fully assembled, but everything clicks together so you don't need any special tools. This set is the perfect size to create the horse barn adventure that your child is lookong for. The food and water troughs change and are movable around the set. If this product came with a doll to play with, it would be perfect. One note, this set does come with a few small pieces of food for Spirit, with no place to really store them in the set so they could be easily lost. She loves Spirit and loves horses so it was the perfect item for her. The barn is a little hard initially to put together but once done it is a very sturdy playset. The tire swing is my daughter's favorite feature of the playset but she loves all of the pieces that come with it. Of course, we had to get a Lucky doll to go with it. My daughter and Spirit had to have her too to make this set complete! It would be nice if she was added to the playset with or without a small additional cost. My daughter and her friends play with this for hours!
