My daughter carries it around everywhere in the little purse that it comes with. It is soft and a good toy for any age kid. I went and visited my grand daughters in Florida and gave my 8 year old this. Purple being her favorite color she was excited. Her sister also got one, and knew all about it, so she showed her sister. She shaved it and was amazed that it actually shaved her pet down. She washed her and dried it, and brushed it. This is really an awesome gift for little ones. It comes with extra hair that you have to use the clippers(not actual clippers). The clippers make noise that made my niece actually sound like you are shaving the dog. It comes with a pillow case that you put the extra hair in when you are done shaving it. The dog itself is a freaking mess. Bathing this thing turns into a freaking hot mess. You're also supposed to &quot;shave&quot; the dogs hair..sounds fun right? Wrong! The hair just pulls right out of the dang thing and it gets EVERYWHERE. Even when you think you're done &quot;shaving&quot; it's hair you're not, the clumps just keep a coming. After it is all said and done we still don't think it looks anything like it does on the box, we actually do not even think it really looks like a dog at all. She loved getting to pretend to cut the hair off of the puppy, then had a great time giving the puppy a bath. She loved styling the puppy's hair and making a pillow with all of the puppy's left over hair. Her mom is a cosmetologist so I was so excited to get this toy for her! The dog toy comes in an adorable &lsquo;puppy purse&rsquo; packaging. Inside is a pair of toy clippers to help remove the dog fur. It also came with a little vanity that the accessories would come in. My niece loved to carry her soft and cuddly animal. She enjoyed washing, drying and shaving her little furry friend! She was so proud of her new toy because it made her just like her mommy. I am so glad I got this for her.
