Wouldn't have bought if I could find a cheaper one
The board itself works fine, but it's way over priced. I bought a full size one 20 years ago at a night market back when it was first invented, and I recall only paid $40 CAD. Back then it didnt even have a name. The person sold it to me called it a "snake board", and later some called it a "wave board". I guess now this company bought its pattern and markets it as a "Ripstik" (why named it a stick???) in NA and selling for over $120 CAD for a full size version and $80 CAD for a kid size version. "Ripstik"?? More like a RipOff to me. Build quality wise, this Ripstik is a step down from my 20-year old board. Flip the Ripstik over and you see the cheap exposed plastic wafer structure under the deck. Maybe inside my 20-year old board is also a wafer structure, but at lest it's covered and has a flat surface underdeck, so you dont see any ugly wafer. My 20-year old board even came with mag flashing led wheels (and they still work after 20 years!), and Ripstik does not.

Not sure I got your question, but the Ripstik is fun to ride, albeit not as fast as skateboard, nor as versatile in terms of the tricks you can perform at a skate park. But if just cruising around without ever taking your foot off the board, Ripstik is the best. To learn how to ride, there are tons of video on YouTube. My 7-year old picked it up in a couple hours.

Amazon is pretty much it. The wheels are compatible with inline skate wheels. Just make sure you got the right size. I'm buying led flashing wheels to swap out the stock wheels on my kid's ripster, and I can tell you on the kids version the wheels are 64mm diameter.

Razor company makes 2 versions of this type of caster board. A full size/long version for adults, and a smaller/shorter version for kids. This "Ripster" ad on ToysRUs is the short version for kids. The kids version has a lower weight limit of 79kg. So long you are within the weight limit adults can ride the kid version too, and vice versa. The main difference is about the wheel base distance, which should match your natural stance (about shoulder wide). That's why kids would find the kids version easier to ride, and adults over 5' tall will find more comfortable with the adult version.
