They hold their color well and don't warp or tear at the seams. They have withstood sitting in the heat and cold of a garage every year beautifully. The only drawbacks would be that the ink smudges a little when hit, and the synthetic covers occasionally leave a thin white film of plastic on an aluminum bat when hit. However, the film can easily be rubbed off. Didn&rsquo;t travel far max out mabie 250 (+-20 ft)... The two Rawlings Little League RS leathers I purchased AWSOME!!! I&rsquo;m a 35 year old batting coach for a fiew different teams and I hit what I was calling money balls (LL RS leathers) and out of four B.B. 1 went yard over middle sized fence @ 330 ft to left center! Also create more backspin and all were to fence almost 100 more feet!!! I would say invest your money in the Rawlings little league leather with RS and wouldn&rsquo;t suggest these baseballs for anything other than contact practice baseballs only... Here&rsquo;s some pics from my session in batting cage with students (only me).
