With my 4 yo, we have to give her clues and tell her which character she should try to get to or make the first move for her but because she loves Harry Potter she doesn&rsquo;t give up. All in, this is a brilliant game to get children interested in more grown up board games. We were able to set-up the game and start playing in 5 minutes - which I love! The game itself took about 25 minutes, but was still fun and required using some logic navigate the ever-changing gameboard. My husband who isn't a fan of board games actually really liked this one, and ranked it a 8/10, which is very high for him. We played with 2 players and it was fun, but I can see how 3 or 4 would be even better. We will be playing again with friends soon. The Harry Potter theme is really secondary to the game,m, but any Harry Potter fan will appreciate the diverse characters and all the small pictures that decorate the board. I also loved the built in storage for all the game pieces (see pics). I hate when game pieces are just loose in the box. Very nice feature. Only negatives for me is the size of the character pictures on the board. They are about the size of a coin, and you have to match your card to them without letting your opponents know. With such a small picture it's hard to tell if it is Ron, Harry, or Neville in the black robe and not make it obvious to the other players. Also, the pieces dont always move as smoothly as I would like. This may get better with use. Overall a fun game that is a bit different from the usual. I received a copy of this game free if charge. It&rsquo;s a great game for family game night. It&rsquo;s enjoyable for all ages (we have a 7 year old who adores the game), and it doesn&rsquo;t get boring to play over and over again because the game is different every time. It was nice to be able to modify it for the 7 year old (she played with all her cards face up) while the adults played a higher difficulty level (only top card face up) to keep things more equal. This game is so fun and is a big hit at our house. Our kids keep asking to play it every day! The board is always changing, so no two games are the same. It is also fun to plan out and try to teach strategy to the younger kids. There are instructions to make it easier to play with younger kids. We played with 2 adults and a 7 year old and a 4 year old. Love the Harry Potter characters added in to make a fun twist on the game. The characters come from throughout all the different movies, so that is fun as a fan! The pieces are all of great quality, this game should last for years to come of family game nights! We played at a family gathering and had 3 generations (age 6 through age 71) play the game and everybody loved it. It was simple enough for the 6 year old (with a little help), but challenging enough to keep the older players (including a teen) entertained. The game pieces were sturdy and will be able to withstand a great deal of playing. This will continue to be a hit with our family as no two games will ever be the same! I highly recommend this game!
