The instructions are easy enough to understand, but some of it took a process of elimination to figure out. There is a lot of small pieces in this set, so I am glad that it can all be stored inside the pet clinic for easy clean up and storage. This toy has provided hours of imaginative play. My daughter loves making up stories for both the humans and animals in the pet clinic. I have really enjoyed watching and listening to her play with this toy. She liked that her arms and hands twisted and moved independently so that they could carry things. She also liked how easy it was to pack up the pet clinic if she was going somewhere and could take it with her. She liked that some of the pets heads could move and that the cone-of-shame could fit on their heads! She liked that there was a little waiting area and desk to check in that made it feel like a real pet clinic. They have been playing with it every day! The little animals are so cute. They love pretending to be a vet. All the pieces are very sturdy. My 7 year old put most of it together. I love how interactive it was to play with this set. The pet clinic was very adorable. It was like an actual pet clinic with the small details in it. My daughter said she really loved this playset as one day she would love to be a veterinarian! Overall the product is well built, it provides family interactive time. It takes time and patients. Building your child's confidence. I find this age appropriate for the ages listed.
