The slide and spring filled honey pots make the toy very engaging. It's small and once you slide the characters down the slide a few times, the novelty has worn off. Also, the tops of the flowers come off and the honey sticks seem too small for the suggested age range. I'm afraid both of those parts would be a choking hazard. Each piece is the perfect size to fit in his little hands. The jumping rods go inside of the honey pots with great ease. Then, by gently pushing and releasing they pop out, which causes great excitement with my little one. You can also the characters down the slide.
