It comes with some play doh but we had plenty of our own to add. It was compatible with all our doh and easy to clean up with a skewer in tight places. I think the main problem with it is that each block of Play-Doh you put in the head doesn't equate to a very long length of hair, so you end up using multiple colors pretty quickly. And then once you mix colors, they all turn brown.</span>
