Does the lid remain attached? Biggest complaints with other versions of these toy chest is that the lid doesn&rsquo;t stay attached,so to take toys out the lid has to be removed is that the case with this one?

The lid is designed to be removed while the child is at play. It is truly a safety feature that is built into the Toy Chest so the lid will not fall on a child.
