<span itemprop="description">I do not recommend this pump for several reasons. It leaks unless you lean forward while pumping. The suction is weak and barely gets anything out, especially if your milk supply is low. I was able to express more by hand. The comfort cushion is anything but comfortable, it rubs as the suction pumps which caused me to get painful blisters.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I had trouble breastfeeding when we brought my daughter home from the hospital, so i expressed for a few days until we got the hang of feeding.
This pump is so easy to use, and kind on sensitive and sore nipples! It allowed ny nipples to heal, so i could feed again a few days later. From day 1 of use, plenty of milk was produced, which only got better over time.
Once feeding was established, i had a break from pumping (as it would have been an endless cycle of feeding and pumping with no break!). But 4 months later, i have come back to the pump so i can build up a stock of breastmilk, allowing my husband to do a feed or two.
Even though there was a break, the pump was just as efficient and its getting regular use now.
I believe that had i not had a decent pump to help me out in the begining, i would not be breastfeeding now.
In summary, this is a kind and gentle breast pump. It is efficient, and does not hurt when used on sore and cracked nipples!</span>

It’s good that I didn’t get the Medela because that’s way too expensive. I like this single electric because I can use this while breastfeeding my daughter. I would totally recommend this! Especially to the new mom that are looking for the best breastpump, you’re on the right item!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I purchased this pump so that on occasion I could freeze some milk for when I’m away from baby and also for days I am feeling engorged. The first time I used it it seemed to work pretty well but the more I used it I noticed issues. The pump pressure is inconsistent and the opening of the nipple cushion is HUGE. It’s 25mm and totally did damage to my already sore nipples, I had to stop using it. I went online to see if I could purchase a smaller cushion, and went into every store possible and could not find one. The only place I could get one was the Phillips website (and I had to order from the US and pay over $35 for shipping!!! As it’s not available in Canada). Most pumps have 2 sizes OR you can at least purchase in store. Spend a bit extra and get a better quality pump. Do not waste your money on this.</span>

My baby is 2 weeks old and I have to breast bump night feeds due to my medical condition. The suction pump stops and gets caught constantly. It takes me 15 minutes just to get the pump working properly. So frustrating. I’m going to buy a Spectra S2. Not worth it at all. I couldn’t believe the price that it retails for.</span>

The suction is poor and I've never yielded more than 20-30ml, however I have a good supply and can be engorged and leaking and this pump still won't draw anything out. I get more milk using a simple silicone hand pump. I've followed all the instructions and have ensured I'm using it correctly but still experience bad results. Very disappointed.</span>

I tried using the pump without an insert which works half decent however the flange is too big for my nipples therefore I’m unable to get much milk at all. (Written for my wife)</span>

Je n'ai qu'un seul regret c'est de ne pas avoir acheter la version double ... L'allaitement est une nouvelle aventure pour moi et je pensais la version double superflue... A refaire, je la choisirai surtout pour celles qui souhaitent allaiter sur une longue période.
Je ne regrette absolument pas mon choix du tire-lait électrique ! bien plus pratique qu'un manuel pour celles qui souhaitent tirer leur lait fréquemment !</span>

<span itemprop="description">If you have low milk supply, this pump is not for you. I tried several times to get milk using the Avent pump and couldn’t even get a drop. I ended up trying a Medela and instantly got milk. The suction on the Avent just wasn’t enough for me. Too bad, because I love all our other Avent products! On the plus side this pump is relatively quiet, easy to clean and reasonably mobile.</span>

Hello! Philips Avent Comfort Single electric breast pump SCF332/11 is battery operated. A new set of batteries provides 1-3 hours of operating time. Rechargeable batteries will lose capacity over time and may cause a decrease in operating time. Please note that If you have inserted batteries in the battery housing of the motor unit and plug in the adapter, the breast pump will run from on electrical power. The batteries cannot be charged in the unit.

Yes, it is a little rubber white piece in the neck of the bottle that only allows one way flow. ps- highly recommend Avent pump (easy use, cleaning) BUT get the double pump!!! I thought single would be fine and now 5 months later just paided for another -_-
