About two weeks later, the purring still works but pressing the paw doesn't trigger the meowing sound effects. It seems this is a pretty common problem. But can&rsquo;t return now as they are random and my kid really likes this one and was upset at the prospect of losing it. I would pass on this toy given another opportunity. I thought maybe the batteries were dead and i tried 3 more and still nothing. Its soft and makes the cutest kitten sounds purrs and even meows little songs. The packaging was impressive. My daughter loved opening it to see which kitten she got and the little surprises that came with it.
