The prosthetic leg goes on and off. This is great for learning about others differences. My only complaint is that the hair arrived more wavy than straight and almost a little matted at the bottom. When I completed my post grad study in disability my thesis was a case study on &ldquo;Kacy&rdquo; I couldn&rsquo;t believe it when OG released this doll.and she had the same name. That said the doll is lovely. Beautiful soft and brushable hair, she works well with other 18&rdquo; and OG accessories and a great way to introduce a contemporary understanding of life with a physical disability to children. The print on the dress is very pretty. There is only One suggestion. You shouldn&rsquo;t wear your prosthetic leg without a sock on the stump for protection, so to those finding the prosthesis falls off of corse it will without a sock. I put a sock from another OG outfit on and it worked well and didn&rsquo;t fall off any more. She is an 18 in doll, her body is soft and her other parts are made of a good quality plastic. She has brown eyes that open and close and blonde hair. She comes with dress, shrug, underwear, shoes, and prosthetic leg.You can change and use most 18 in doll clothes and accessories with her. Her prosthetic leg is removable and easily goes back on.
