He’s been carrying this around since we got it. It’s fairly easy to use that even I was able to shoot it. The bullets are a rubber like material that do not hurt when they hit you. You can feel it but it’s not painful. The gun itself has a compartment to hold all the bullets balls in. This is the perfect gift for your 10-13 year old and probably even a little older. It comes with eye protective glasses which is a nice extra.</span>
