But I honestly think my significant other has played with it more than they have. He is like a child all over again. The gun itself is 43 inches long so it's a little hard for the boys to hold onto it by themselves but it does have a bipod that folds down to support it on the ground so that is how the kids use it. The darts that come with it have a very nice whistle sound to them. Distance wise I would say the darts travel around 75 ft easily. Definitely recommend to any nerf fan young or young at heart.</span>
