He was really bad when he started but he is hitting the targets more and more as time goes on. It keeps score and it comes with googles so just in case . He thinks they are cool . We purchased other games so he can make a course . The flip sides are easy to put back in place once they are hit and the digital score keeper is a ice feature to help keep track of the score. You need to supply the batteries but otherwise it is put together when taking out of the box. As just a target where you hit the swing pieces it's great and they like being able to shoot/move them. The game element isn't used at all... picking a game and keeping track of what they needed to do was too much &quot;focus&quot; when they just want to shoot.
