It doesn't take long to charge, approx 45 mins or less for a full charge, and the charge lasts about 2 hours. That's a great improvement from when I was younger! Also, the RC is super lightweight, so it easily flips over if it goes on its back, it's quiet in the house, and less dangerous overall. It's resilient outside in the grass or on ramps. Immediately, my 5 year old had his RC in the backyard, and was using some flat wood out back to make ramps off the chairs and other backyard furniture. He played with this for hours after opening it. The wheels on it are foam as well so its super safe to play with. You can just drive it around or use the ramp for extra fun. He was instantly in love the second we got it's wheels turning its definitely his new fave for sure. The features I like about this toy are that it has foam wheels which at first I didn't like but seeing how insane this toy moves I'm thankful they're like that cause they're soft so won't injure anyone if it rams into them lol. I also love that the vehicle itself is chargeable via USB cord so not wasting batteries all the time, the remote is battery operated but remotes Don't take much battery power so they'll last. This is definitely a really awesome toy and if I find any in the same collection (don't know if exist or will but I'll look) I'll definitely grab them. This Monster truck is easy to assemble and great for both indoor and outdoor play. It comes with 2 ramps which can be adjusted to your liking by connecting them side by side or use your imagination and form a really cool track to do stunts. It also includes a ramp add-on which enables your truck to do backflips for extra excitement. The truck itself is well made and has large foam tires, so it's perfect for driving inside the house on a rainy day. As a parent, I love not having to worry about the tires damaging the walls or other items in my home. We tried this outside as well and it also works great on grass, gravel and rocks. I wish the battery life was a bit longer since it usually needs to be charged by the time I get a turn, but thankfully it charges quickly!
