He is 5 years old and is crazy about sharks, so obviously the megalodon was a huge hit with him. He really enjoyed having the 2 cars so we could play together. The controls were easy for him to pick up. He has had hours of fun with this pair of monster jam trucks! While the product does take a lot of batteries, they are included so we were able to play with the trucks right away. I would definitely recommend this for other monster truck loving kids!</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unlike many remote control vehicles weve owned in the past, these trucks have the simplest controls, great for younger kids! The trucks are well-built and sturdy enough to fly off many ramps and hit hard, but keep on truckin! Another bonus, the set came with the batteries! The remote controls never became confused as to which truck it was controlling, and the radio frequency was always strong. Great set of remote control trucks for sure!</span>

He said that he likes that they could go up small ramps, but wishes they could go up bigger ones. Also the batteries die incredibly quickly which he found to be quite annoying. He said its ok fun, but not the most fun hes ever had.
Side note, weve had it a week, hes played with it twice and hasnt looked at it since. Mostly because the batteries are dead and when I asked if he wanted fresh ones, he said no, it was ok</span>

As a parent of 2 kids I was also happy that it came with 2 sets of trucks so no fighting over the new toy :) My kids are 5 and 2 and this this was super easy for them to operate. Unlike other remote control cars we've had these ones were rugged and the controller was small so great for little hands to use. The buttons to go back and forth and turn were very easy that even my 2 year old picked it up in no time. I would have given this 5 stars had it worked better on asphalt. Inside the trucks went really quick and had no issue but outside they were slower and sometimes couldn't handle the bumps on the road very well. Overall these are very fun to use and worth a the purchase. Well done SpinMaster!!</span>
