You do need to assemble the pieces but the instructions were clear and easy to understand. There are four different sections to the playset: bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and living area, two on top and two on bottom. My daughter had fun discovering the different interactive items throughout the boo-tique (toilet, fridge, fireplace, etc). The playset does come with a few pieces of furniture and some small accessories. My favorite feature as the parent is the foldable design for easier storage. Overall, a fun addition for our Monster High dolls.</span>

It’s overall a super cool set. My girls love hanging Draculaura upside down so she can sleep and like having the other bed so the dolls can have a sleepover.</span>
