<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to play this game with my 8-year-old daughter since she’s never played Monopoly before and I haven’t played it in about 30 years! It says it’s for ages 8 and up, but it seems too complicated and frustrating for kids that young. My daughter didn’t have the patience to play it for more than an hour and neither of us even got to the point of building with the Mickey markers during that time. The best part about it was that it gave her a fun way to practice adding and subtracting money. The board, character tokens, Mickey markers, and character pins are all really cute. My daughter and I didn’t wear the pins since they seemed unnecessary and quite sharp. Each player rolls 3 dice on their turn (one blue and 2 white) and moves not only their token but the Pete token, too. The blue dice represents how many spaces you need to move the Pete token and the white ones represent how many spaces you move your own token. There are definitely a lot of rules to remember with this game, and I had to keep the directions open the whole time to make sure we were playing correctly. Overall, this is a cute and fun game for Disney and Monopoly lovers, but it seems a bit too difficult for children as young as 8. I’m hoping that I can revisit the game when my daughter is a little older</span>

The board itself has many references to old Disney shorts on it. The pins, cards, player pieces, and place markers are all made well and very detailed. It was a bit tricky to understand the game rules at first, but after playing a few time we got the hang of it. This game has a twist with Pete, but you can also play classic monopoly with it if you wish.</span>
