This toy was perfect for him. He enjoys that he can use it with other Minecraft toys he owns. The toy is well made and has good articulation of the limbs. I enjoy that the hands are grooved so the sword fits and stays in Steve's hands. His arms and legs can move but not bend. He does come with a black block to connect to other boxes. But you will have to purchase additional characters to make the portal. The packaging was typical for a single figure toy. It displayed the related toys on the back. The character can move its arms and legs and holds the sword. It includes a piece that you can collect to form a portal with other pieces in the set. The toy is sturdy but the sword flexes quite a bit. My son likes minecraft but didn&rsquo;t really show much interest past the initial novelty. My son was OBSESSED he literally could not wait till it got here and screamed when he opened it. To say it was a big hit was and understatement! So my son is 6 and my daughter is 29 months. An they both looooove it! He wants to get the next character! We have played with it at a friend's house, in the car and in the house. This is very well made and sturdy believe me it's been chewed on and dropped a whole bunch and it is a very big hit with both kids! I have no dislikes with this product.
