Of course the shooting abilities thrill the kids. The little discs are easily lost in our house thankfully it comes with 10. My boys love this toy. They tell me that the details on the Ghast are very accurate as it is depicted in the game. They love that its eyes are closed and a scary face appears every time it shoots a fire ball. The only downside they tell me is that they wished that the discs had more detail. It has grooves on the disks to depict a fire element but they boys said it would have been better if it had stickers on it like it appears on the box. For the most part it shoots fairly well. We have noticed though that when you don't fully press the button, a disc can get jammed in the mouth. Its easy enough to just press the button to launch the disc though. They also like that the legs can move back and forth since in the game, it swims with the legs back and then it moves forward when attacking. It really does provide for more accurate pretend play. Its a very well built toy and is in no way flimsy at all. This is a plus if you have children who constantly drop toys. However, the button you press to shoot the objects out was difficult to use both as a child AND for me as an adult. After several frustrated attempts to use, he hasn&rsquo;t wanted to play with it since.
